I have to confess I wasn't drawn to it initially. But when the School of Statistics at Universidad Central de Venezuela needed an instructor for its Statistical Inference class, I agreed to help for one semester, as a favor to my mentor.
And that changed everything.
Ever since that class, I have been teaching and training to become a better teacher. It's been quite the journey and each course and student has helped me become a better statistician, researcher and person.
