My general area of interest is complex models for clustered longitudinal data.

For my dissertation, I work with Scott Zeger and Elizabeth Colantuoni developing methods to asses gender disparities in academic rewards. Part of this work has lead me to look at applications of stepped wedge designs, as a way to assess sources of information.

On a more applied side, I work with Tom Louis and Elizabeth Sugar at the Johns Hopkins Center for Clinical Trials, analizing ophthalmological outcomes from the Multicenter Uveitis Steroid Treatment (MUST) trial. I also collaborate with researchers at the JHSPH department of Epidemiology and the JHU School of Medicine, analyzing surgical outcomes using data from the National Surgical Quality Improvement Program (NSQIP).
